BEIJING, May 20 (Reuters) — China and Russia should
increase mutual support, stabilise the foundation of their
cooperation and maintain the security and stability of
neighbouring areas, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi told his
Russian counterpart on Monday.
Wang was speaking at a meeting with Sergei Lavrov in
Kazakhstan’s capital Astana, China’s foreign ministry said in a
statement. The two men also discussed the situation in the
Middle East, Ukraine and on the Korean peninsula.
